Course Information
- Training is at our offices in Rosebank, Johannesburg.
- CareerJunction reserves the right to cancel or postpone training due to unforeseen circumstances.
- If you cannot attend the course that you booked for:
- You may send a substitute delegate in your place
- You may cancel your booking, in writing, up to 72 working hours prior to the course.
- Cancellation inside of the 72 working hours is liable for a R500 per delegate cancellation fee.

The purpose of this training is to refresh and update Recruiters on the CareerJunction system. This course is ideal for the user who did not use the system for a while and needs a reminder. The course is presented at a faster pace and more "high level" than the above mentioned Introduction to CareerJunction Training.

Course Prerequisites
Sound knowledge of the job writing tool on the CareerJunction system.

The search workshop is designed to assist experienced CareerJunction users on how to run more defined and accurate searches.
Course Prerequisites
Sound knowledge on the searching tool on the CareerJunction system.
At The End Of The Session Recruiters Should Be Able To
- Narrow searches down to a more manageable number of results
- Expand a search if the result was zero
- Eliminate resumes that have not been updated in 6 or 12 months
- Search for affirmative action/employment equity CareerSeekers
- Headhunt for a CareerSeeker by name or a company
- Have a better understanding on which job titles or keywords to use when searching
- Add a comment to a CareerSeeker's resume
- Understand the difference between ALL and ANY keywords and how to maximize this to its full extent.
- Understand the difference between "Most recently updated" and “Most Relevant” resumes and how to choose which one to display.
- Understand when to search for a job title under the "Job Title" field of the "Keyword" field and impact this will have on your results.
- Do better searches in general


"Beta" refers to the pre-release version of software, an application or a website before its official release. After initial in-house testing has been done, the application is made available to the public to use and provide feedback to the developer.
The Beta Search Workshop is designed to assist users on how to use the new search functionality, as well as how to run more defined and accurate searches.
At the end of this session the client will be able to:
- View the full searchable database
- Exclude criteria from your search results
- Save searches directly from the search results page
- Broaden your results by adding more keywords
- Narrow your result set by adding filters
- Filter by gender, ethnicity, employment equity and more

This course is only available to supervisors and decision makers.
